KOINONIA - 1) A Greek word meaning communion or intimate fellowship. This relationship exists between the three Persons of the Holy Trinity and also between Christians who are united by love into one body in Christ. (Acts 2:41, 42; 2 Cor. 13:14; 1 John 1:1-7). See also COMMUNION.
